LOVE—giving and feeling love is therapeutic. Spend time and genuine effort to nourish and strengthen the love relationships in your life. ❤️
MEET—make new relationships! Join groups. Get more involved in your place of worship and/or community. When you meet a new person that you like, invite them out for coffee or a meal. Make effort to deepen or nurture the relationship. But PLEASE make sure you wear your PPE! I need ya’ll to stay safe! 🤞🏾
HEAL—heal unsettled or troubled relationships with your family and friends. Your past (baggage) can taint great things with people of your present and future. Remember, in healing others, you heal yourself! 🩹
SERVE—Enjoy the “helper’s high”. One of the best ways to relieve your stress is to help others relieve theirs. In helping others, you usually get more than you give. When you give of yourself to others, feel-good hormones, like dopamine rush in your brain—”helper’s high“. That said, in helping others, you help yourself. 🤲🏾 🤝
