The Dirty Dozen

Why buy organic? Because conventional (non-organic) produce has pesticides that are harsh and harmful to our bodies. They can cause a host of health issues such as GI distress including nausea and diarrhea, dizziness, allergic reactions, CANCER, birth defects, and so much more. Let’s be honest, buying organic is recommended in order to avoid ingesting pesticides, but NOT required. We’d rather have conventional fruits and vegetables then none at all—just be sure to WASH your fruits and veggies thoroughly!
